Ch Giocoso Devil in Disguise & CH Willow’s Moving with the Tides
We are thrilled to announce the pairing between our girl CH Giocoso Devil In Disguise BCAT ATT FDC “Priscilla” and OHBISS BOSS CH Willow’s Moving with the Tides ATT CGC TKN “Luffy.”
Luffy, owned by Danya (Momo) Esposito and co-owned/bred by Diane Johnson, exemplifies the versatility and balance we value in the Schipperke breed. Structurally sound and correct, Luffy moves with confidence, clean lines, and purpose. His achievements extend far beyond the show ring — he also serves as a trained medical alert service dog, detecting the chemical changes that signal oncoming migraines and seizures. His stability, focus, and intelligence reflect a dog bred for both form AND function, while his deep devotion to his handler highlights the unwavering loyalty and heart that make Schipperkes such extraordinary companions.
Priscilla brings her own unique strengths to this pairing. A compact, drivey bitch with clean structure and movement, she is also our resident vermin hunter, proudly connected to the breed’s original working purpose as a ratter and watchdog aboard barges. Beyond her athleticism and instinct, Priscilla is deeply affectionate — devoted to her people and happiest when by our side, whether she’s working, playing, or just keeping watch.
This pairing unites two dogs who each demonstrate Schipperke’s hallmark traits: soundness, purpose, versatility, devotion, and character. We look forward to the future of this cross and the potential it brings to our program.
Week 6
At six weeks, the puppies are fully engaged with their environment. They run, tumble, and play confidently, showing off their bright, curious personalities. Their feisty, playful energy is clear, and each one is developing into a unique, spirited companion. This week, they received their first round of vaccinations and have been enjoying supervised playtime outside on the grass with the adults. They are full of excitement and can’t wait for their very first adventure to Lowe’s, where they’ll explore new sights, sounds, and smells!
Week 5
The pups are now exploring with purpose, climbing over each other and investigating every corner of their space. Their movements are faster, their play more assertive, and the first hints of their feisty personalities begin to peek through. These little black bears are full of energy and curiosity, learning the bounds of their world.
Week 2-4
Week 2 – Beginning to Move
At two weeks old, the puppies are still mostly dependent on mom. Their eyes are thinking about opening, and they make tentative movements, crawling and nudging around. They are still mostly resting and feeding, but small bursts of motion hint at what’s to come.
Week 3 – Eyes Opening, Exploring
Now fully alert, the puppies are beginning to explore their surroundings. They crawl, paw, and interact with one another, practicing the skills they’ll need as they grow. Their soft, rounded shapes and tiny movements make them irresistibly cute.
Week 4 – Tiny Dynamos
By week four, the pups are much more mobile. They tumble, play, and experiment with gentle nips and pawing. Their coordination improves daily, and short bursts of energetic activity show the first sparks of their lively, playful nature.
Week 1
The newest Schipperke puppies have finally arrived, 4 tiny, soft, and perfectly formed boys. Eyes are closed, and all of their time is spent nursing and sleeping. They cluster together for warmth, fragile and delicate, a sweet beginning to the energetic companions they will become. Mom is doing great constantly laying down for them to nurse and keep warm. We cant wait to see these puppies grow!
